Topic: Advantages and Disadvantages of Having a Part-time Job to a Secondary School Student


Ladies and gentlemen,

As the chair of the student union, I’d like to talk about the topic, “Advantages and Disadvantages of Having a Part-time Job to a Secondary School Student”

According to the statistic, there are more and more secondary school students getting a part-time job to support their studies. This causes a lot of concerns among the parents and school teachers. It is believed that having a part-time job can affect students’ studies. However, it is also believed that having a part-time job can help students learn different skills through the work. In this presentation, I’d like to discuss both the advantages and disadvantages of having a part-time job for the overall development of secondary students.
