Conditional Tenses

General Conditional
1. If you heat the water to 100 degree, it boils.
2. If you cut your finger, it bleeds.
3. If the temperature drops to zero degree, you feel cool.

Type 1 Conditional
If I practise hard, I will win the competition.
If my mobile rings, she will answer it.
The schools will close tomorrow if there is a black rainstorm.

Type 2 Conditional
1. If I were a football star, I would be rich and famous.
2. If a horse had six legs, wold really fast.
3. If Miss leung taught my class, she would give us lesson homework; but I heard that she is not going to teach us.

Type 3 Conditional
1. If I had studied hard, I would have passed my exam.
2. If I had had enough time yesterday, I would have gone to the park.
3. If she had come to my party, She would have met lots of people.
4. If Joan had changed the light bulb, she would have been able to see clearly in the dark.
